Lower School, Grades 1-4
Make, Create, and Innovate
This is not your typical summer learning program!
Make, Create and Innovate is a multi-sensory, hands-on approach to learning, risk-taking and exploring.
Make, Create, Innovate
This half-day, four-week program provides a variety of enrichment opportunities for students entering grades 1 through grade 4. Developed to suit students with varied needs, the program features a variety of learning centers and stations equipped to promote creation, design and innovation as well as a small group, teacher-led center to differentiate and reinforce skills and content.
Reading, writing and math will be covered at each grade level, allowing students to sustain and further develop foundational skills necessary to be successful in the general Gulliver curriculum.
The summer course for English Language Learners (ELL) offers recent English speakers the opportunity to develop academic language proficiency and gain cultural orientation.
Courses are taught by Gulliver teachers at the Montgomery Drive campus and follow the Gulliver curriculum with a summer twist of engaging activities and class themes.
Session: June 4 - June 29
Times: 8:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
Morning Lower School Summer Studies can be combined with Day Camp, Engineering Camps and Athletic Camps for a full-day program at an additional charge; includes lunch. Students will be bused from the Montgomery campus to either the Academy or Preparatory campus by Gulliver buses to complete their day depending on the afternoon camp.
