Raider's Edge Business Networking

Raider’s Edge networking

Having the right connection can give you the edge you need in growing your business or taking the next step in your career. Expand your professional network by getting to know the business side of your fellow alumni.

How it Works: Networking events are held several times throughout the year using a couple of different speed networking models. The two most common formats are as follows:

  • Round Robin:

Participants meet each other sequentially. During this hour-long speed networking session, you will have up to 10 one-on-one meet and greets with other Gulliver alumni. Each five-minute pairing will be called and timed by the event host.

  • Round Table Introductions:

This networking event features round-table introductions with five to eight people per table. Participants will be assigned to a table. During this 30-minute speed networking session, each participant will have three minutes to give an introduction about himself or herself and the business.

We encourage you to use your 30-second elevator pitch to inform your fellow Raiders about the company you work for, what you do, your connection with Gulliver and any other information you would like others to know about you. Have plenty of business cards on hand and a pen available.

Why Attend?

  • Expand your Gulliver alumni business network
  • Get to know fellow Raiders outside of your class and/or existing circle of friends
  • Identify new business alliances, synergies and career opportunities
  • Receive feedback, advice and potential leads
  • Take the guess-work out of finding the "right" contacts
  • Guaranteed and non-intrusive method of expanding your alumni network
  • It’s a fun, high-energy way to meet great people!
