The Upper School held its annual academic awards ceremonies in May, honoring hundreds of students for their excellence in character, in the classroom, and in athletic competition.
The Prep Academic Awards Ceremony took place on May 2. Each department honored its highest-achieving students, while a variety of Community Awards were presented to students meeting specific criteria in academic, athletic and/or service capacities. Students possessing the top 10 GPAs in each grade level - known as the Principal's List - were also recognized. The evening came to a close with alumni returning to campus to present rising seniors with their college or university's annual Book Award.
The Miller Drive Campus Academic Awards Ceremony took place on May 9. Once again, each department presented awards to its top-performing students. Nicole Aulicino '18 (right) was honored with the Service Award and the Steve Solomon Leadership Award, while one student in each class received the Citizenship Award. Four students earned Academic Achievement Awards, three students were recognized for their perfect attendance, and Clayton Snyder '18 was honored with the Adrienne J. Gang Book Award, named after the campus' first principal.
