Last week, in an effort spearheaded by Ms. Chiho Cotton, World Languages Faculty, four Gulliver Middle School students and their families hosted Japanese students as part of the "Wings of Youth" program. During the same week, Mr. Patrick Griffin, Prep Social Sciences Faculty, and the Upper School's Social Sciences Department hosted its annual US-Japan Diplomacy project, which simulates negotiations of a treaty between the United States and Japan.
Five Upper School students and Prep Science Faculty Karen Cateriano recently returned from Sarapiqui, Costa Rica, where they spent four days experiencing and learning about the biodiversity of the Costa Rican Rainforest.

As Health Information Project (HIP) kicks off its 11th year, Gulliver is set to welcome the program back to the Upper School for the 10th year.
Jake Seymour '20 had a productive and insightful Summer of 2019. He began by actively networking for STEM outreach programs and representing Gulliver's own CR Coding at a Florida Computer Science Teachers Association (CSTA) meeting to promote CSforALL. He then embarked upon a truly remarkable trip to Asia, starting with backpacking through Japan and an internship with Jin Mao Partners -- an international firm specializing in China’s Belt & Road Initiative in central Shanghai, China.
Due to Hurricane Dorian, our campuses will be closed Saturday, August 31 through Tuesday, September 3.
We anticipate to be open for school on Wednesday, September 4; however, this will depend on the storm's impact to our area.
