Preparatory Summer Studies
The Summer Studies program on the Preparatory Campus offers students from all schools, who are entering grades 9 – 12, a broad spectrum of courses, ranging from electives to IB, from readiness to college writing, and also from favorites like Field Studies in Marine Science to new classes like the History of Modern Politics.
The program combines intensive academics, small-group learning, and individual attention in a range of three-week and six-week courses. Taking these classes in the summer often enables students to schedule more electives during the school year. Courses are offered for advancement, enrichment, recovery, and in some instances for full or half year credit.
