Lower School Make, Create and Innovate
The half-day, four-week program provides an opportunity for students entering grades 1 through grade 4. Student participants will come with varied needs. Some are enrolled for enrichment while others need to continue to sustain and further develop foundational skills necessary to be successful in the general Gulliver curriculum. Reading, writing and math will be covered at each grade level. Each class will have a variety of learning centers and stations that are equipped to promote creation, design and innovation as well as a small group, teacher-led center to differentiate and reinforce skills and content throughout the morning. You can expect a multi-sensory, hands-on approach to learning, risk-taking and exploring for students and teachers that reflects 21st century skills.
The summer course for English Language Learners (ELL) offers the opportunity for recent English speakers to develop academic language proficiency and gain cultural orientation.
Courses are taught by Gulliver teachers and follow the Gulliver curriculum with a summer twist of engaging activities and class themes.
