Meet Our Leadership

Gulliver's Board of Trustees is a group of individuals who volunteer their time to offer their unique talents and experiences to ensure the success of the school. The board has the principal responsibility for the school’s long-term, strategic planning, advancing its mission, and its fiduciary responsibilites.

The Senior Management Team of Gulliver Schools is directly responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Gulliver.

Libby Witherspoon ‘87
President and Chairwoman

Senior Director, BNY Mellon Wealth Management

Current Responsibilities: Witherspoon is the team leader and portfolio manager for high-net-worth individuals, foundations, endowments and other entities.

R. Alexander Acosta ‘86
Vice Chairman/Chair-Elect

Dean of the Florida International University College of Law

Current Responsibilities: Acosta manages the Florida International University College of Law.

Barry S. Gould

Director, Mallah Furman, Certified Public Accountants

Current Responsibilities: Gould works in public accounting and coordinates the planning and execution of various continuing client engagements for high-net-worth individuals and closely held companies in the areas of taxation, accounting and family office services.

William ("Bill") Kerdyk, Jr.

President and CEO, Kerdyk Real Estate; President, Kerdyk Referral Service

Current Responsibilities: Kerdyk operates a company that brokers both residential and commercial real-estate transactions and represents numerous banking institutions, selling REO's and advising them on distressed assets.

Current Responsibilities: Nuñez develops and implements strategic growth initiatives and manages UHealth’s international operations, including: clinical, research and education and training divisions.

Charlie Phelan ‘85

Managing Partner, BH 3 LLC

Current Responsibilities: Phelan manages construction, development, real estate valuations and finance for BH 3, and is in charge of capital raises and investor relations.

Swapnil J. Shah ‘94
Treasurer

President and CEO, Mahudi International Corporation

Current Responsibilities: Shah currently has more than 18 years of experience in the apparel, hospitality, retail and real estate divisions of Muhadi International, with offices in Miami, Orlando, New York, Bombay, Hong Kong and Dubai.
