Dear Fellow Raiders,
As a Gulliver alumnus, I am proud to be a part of this exciting time in Gulliver’s history as we collectively celebrate 60 years of Krutulis family leadership.
Gulliver’s mission and core values, set forth by Mrs. K, stand as strong today as they did 60 years ago thanks to the unwavering dedication of the Krutulis family.
It is the goal of the alumni relations department to support and advance the mission of Gulliver and encourage lifelong mutually beneficial relationships between the school and its alumni. Our programs, events and services are designed to serve as a resource for alumni throughout their lives, regardless of age, profession or geographic location.
While the Alumni Relations Department provides the platform for engagement, the fuel that strengthens and enhances our professional networks and respected standing is the collective force of worldwide alumni representation and participation.
As you browse through our website, I encourage you to think about how you can get involved and take the Special K Challenge as a way to celebrate Gulliver’s 60th Anniversary by doing your part to increase alumni participation.
Your individual participation will serve as a tribute to the special legacy left to us by Mrs. K. and will be recognized in the Special K Roll Call within the alumni section of the Gulliver website. Collectively, our involvement as alumni enriches Gulliver’s deep-rooted history, making us forever a part of the Raider family.
I look forward to celebrating with you.
Laura Pina Pequignot ‘82
Director of Alumni Relations
As I enter my second year with the alumni department, I reflect on the knowledge and perspective I have gained over the last school year. Prior to joining the alumni office, even as a member of the Gulliver staff, I was not aware of the scope of benefits and services provided by the alumni association.
Each time I meet a Gulliver graduate who has recently reconnected, I see the same surprised reaction when I tell them about the internship and career mentoring programs that the alumni association can provide regardless of age or occupation.
It has become my personal goal to help educate young alumni about these services, through our FAN (Future Alumni Network) Club, social media, and at our events held throughout the year.
It is the goal of the alumni association to continue to enhance the opportunities to connect our alumni socially and professionally. One of the most gratifying products of this position is seeing the connections we create through the efforts of the alumni department.
Laura and I are here to help in any way we can, all it takes is an email or a call and we can help you get involved!
