Alumni Giving

Each and every one of us carry a special piece of Gulliver with us; memories of a favorite teacher, a love of science or the arts, life-long friendships and so much more that makes us who we are today. Please take a moment to reflect on how your Gulliver experience has made an impact on your life. Then, consider making a donation to ensure that Raiders of tomorrow continue to enjoy the same unique and lasting experience.

Alumni giving, regardless of size or designation, is important. It demonstrates to others that we are willing to stand behind our alma mater, a key attribute when seeking cooperation from the community at large.

Below are just a few of the ways alumni can give:

Financial Gifts:

One of the easiest ways for you to show your support for Gulliver is to make a gift online with a credit card or by mailing a check to Gulliver.

Whether you direct your gift to the school, the alumni association, the arts, athletics or any other area of interest, every penny goes to improve, elevate and enhance our alma mater. 

Sixty 4 Sixty Honor Roll:

Join us in supporting the Krutulis sixty year legacy by giving $60 or more from July 1, 2015 - June 30, 2016. As a member of the Sixty 4 Sixty Honor Roll, you will receive special recognition in the Special K Roll Call and this year’s Signature Event.

Gift amount does not matter:

A gift of any size makes an impact! Your donation of $10 or more goes to work immediately to enhance our alma mater and helps us grow alumni participation.

Sponsor an Alumni Event:

Supporting the Annual Fund through sponsorship of the Alumni Reunion weekend and other alumni events is a great way to:

  • Promote your business/organization to fellow alumni and throughout the Gulliver community
  • Show support and appreciation for Gulliver Alumni Association events and services
  • Express appreciation for your Gulliver education and ensure the same tradition of excellence for future Gulliver Raiders

2015 Reunion Sponsors

Participate in Gulliver's Special Events:

Alumni are invited to participate in all of Gulliver's special events. These events are an important part of Gulliver’s Annual Fund efforts and offer a variety of opportunities for support, including attending the event, sponsoring or underwriting a portion of an event or donating items to an event.

Make-A-Splash

The Gulliver Prep Aquatics Center hosts a swimming fund raiser that supports the Gulliver Booster Club and Gulliver Performing and Visual Arts. The 2015 event will take place on November 14. For more information, call Melissa Wilson at 786.709.4082 or email wilsm@gulliverschools.org.

Raider Challenge Golf Tournament:

Join us for the 14th Annual Golf Classic and 7th Annual Tennis Tournament at Deering Bay on January 11, 2016. Proceeds from the Raider Challenge will benefit the Gulliver Booster Club. For more details, click here.

Signature Event:

Join the Gulliver community in supporting the school by attending, sponsoring and/or or donating an auction item to Gulliver's Signature Event! The event will take place at the Gulliver Prep Campus on March 12, 2016.  For more details, click here

Athletic Hall of Fame:

The Gulliver Athletic Hall of Fame was established in 2010 to permanently recognize and honor coaches, administrators, student-athletes, athletic teams and friends of the athletic program who have made significant contributions to the program's advancement and reputation while demonstrating a high degree of sportsmanship, leadership and character.

The 2014 induction ceremony was held on November 8, 2014, at Gulliver Prep. For inductee bios and more details, click here

Nominations:

Nominations are accepted year-round; however, nominations must be received by January 1 of the year that the induction ceremony is being held for consideration in that year’s induction class.
