After School & Enrichment Programs
Gulliver Academy offers students in Grades PreK3-4 after school extended care programs and enrichment classes during the academic year. These programs are designed to provide an enjoyable, nurturing and educational experience for students, as well as to provide a convenient and safe alternative for parents who cannot pick up their children at the end of the regular school day.
Extended Care ProgramThe Gulliver Extended Care Program for children in Grades PreK3-4 is a fee-based service that parents may take advantage of as needed. Between the hours of 2:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., students participate in age appropriate structured and self-selected activities with their friends while under the careful supervision of highly-qualified, well-trained extended care counselors. The program includes both indoor and outdoor play, snack time, homework time, games and other engaging activities.
Parents may choose to pay annually, monthly or be billed for hourly extended care. Children are picked up and signed out at designated pick-up points by a preauthorized adult who must present valid photo identification.
Fees and Schedule:
- There is no charge from 2:30 p.m. 3:30 p.m. From 3:30 p.m. and on, the rate is $14 per hour or any portion thereof, unless you choose one of the following options:

- Monthly fee is $325 and may be paid via “My Backpack” using a credit card or e-check

Enrichment ProgramGulliver Academy is excited to offer both new and already popular enrichment classes for students in Grades PreK3-4. Taught by popular Gulliver teachers and selected vendors, classes range from engineering, chess, and beginning French and Spanish, to dance, martial arts, cooking, and movement classes, as well as Reading Patch book club, swim lessons and visual arts. Because the schedule changes each day, students can take a variety of enrichment classes each semester.
Courses are grouped by grade. Enrichment classes coordinate with extended care to ensure consistent supervision and safety.
ALL registration must be completed online using your My Backpack account. Parents of current Gulliver students may register for enrichment classes by signing in to your My Backpack account and clicking on Program Registration. Payment may be made with a credit card or e-check.
Classes that have not reached minimum enrollment by January 13, 2017 may be cancelled. All activities are on a “first come, first served” basis.
